Azerbaijan eyes to abolish some villages in Fuzuli, Jabrayil, Lachin
Several villages are planned to be abolished in Azerbaijan’s Fuzuli, Jabrayil and Lachin districts.
The issue finds itself in the bill on “Partial changes in the administrative-territorial division of Aghdam, Jabrayil, Fuzuli, Khojaly, Khojavend, Gubadli, Lachin and Shusha districts of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, which was submitted for discussion to the Commission on Regional Issues of the Azerbaijani parliament, Trend reports.
Yukhari Veysalli and Agbashli villages in the administrative-territorial district of Veysalli village (Fuzuli district), Yukhari Mazra village as part of the Sanjali rural administrative-territorial district (Jabrayil district) and Alijan village in the administrative-territorial district of Kehnekand village (Lachin district) will be abolished.
The territories of the mentioned villages will be included in the Khojavend district.
