Azerbaijan installing seismic station in Shusha

Technical work continues for the installation of a seismic station, donated to the Republican Seismological Service Center (RSSC) under ANAS by the Disaster and Emergency Management Agency (AFAD) under the Turkish Interior Ministry.

The head of the international relations department of the RSSC, Telman Jafarov, visited Shusha, Report says.

Drilling of a well for the seismic station is currently ongoing and the Shusha seismic station is planned to be put into operation by the end of this year.

The RSSC provides for the installation of a seismic and geophysical station in Karabakh, as well as in other adjacent areas. Currently, work in this direction continues.
