We believe that the number of the landmines found in the territories liberated from the Armenian occupation may total about 1.5 million.

“We discovered improvised mines in Lachin. They were installed on the thresholds of houses and in courtyards. Overall, 70 percent of mine explosions occurred away from the former line of contact. Thus, 52 mine incidents occurred on the former line of contact, and 137 in other territories,” he said.
