Georgian FM calls for swift formal peace in region

Georgia welcomes the positive momentum in relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Georgian Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Maka Botchorishvili has stated.
Speaking after a trilateral meeting held in Istanbul, she said Tbilisi supports the swift official establishment of peace in the region, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
“This would make an extremely important contribution to establishing long-term peace in the region and would help further develop regional cooperation,” Botchorishvili noted.
The Georgian Foreign Minister further stressed that Tbilisi considers the normalisation process between Türkiye and Armenia to be important.
