Iran seizes assets of 19 abroad over alleged ties to Israel

Iranian authorities have seized the assets of 19 individuals living abroad in connection with alleged collaboration with Israel.

Officials said a total of 25 people were identified for allegedly engaging in propaganda, political, and media activities against Iran’s national interests, Tasnim news agency reports, citing judicial officials in Hamadan province.

Actions were taken under laws that impose stricter penalties for espionage and cooperation with “hostile states.”

The confiscated property belongs to citizens of the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Russia, Germany, Türkiye, and Iraq, as well as several individuals residing within Iran. The prosecution has ordered that all seized assets be transferred to the state.
