Mayor: Russia's occupation of territories poses major challenge for Georgia
Mayor of Tbilisi Kakha Kaladze has said that the occupation of Georgia’s territories by the Russian Federation was considered the biggest problem and challenge in the country.
According to him, it is necessary to seize any opportunity to inform the whole world about the problems in this regard, Caliber.Az reports citing Georgian media.
“Today the biggest problem and challenge for us is the country's territories, a certain part of our country's territories is occupied by Russia. This is a huge problem. Therefore, we must use every opportunity. Of course, with the participation of our international partners and friends, we must convey to the whole world the reality of what is happening in Georgia - the injustice, and the problems we are facing. We must return these territories by development, by preserving peace, by wisdom. We must bring back our Abkhazian and Ossetian brothers and be able to live together,” Kaladze noted.
