NetBlocks: Iran internet blackout enters 34th day
02 April 2026 13:57
Internet monitoring group NetBlocks said nationwide internet disruptions in Iran have entered their 34th day, with connectivity restrictions surpassing 792 hours.
In a statement posted online, the organisation described the situation as a country-wide blackout and said the restrictions have continued into a second month. It characterised the measures as large-scale censorship affecting national connectivity, Caliber.Az reports.
According to NetBlocks, the prolonged outage has left many families and friends largely cut off from communication with the outside world. The group said the disruptions come amid heightened public concern over reported wartime casualties, arrests and executions.
