OTS Council of Elders: Complete liberation of Karabakh still worries some people
Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Binali Yildirim has said the complete liberation of Karabakh from Armenian occupation still worries some people.
He made the remarks on October 23 in Ankara at the opening of the second meeting of the Council of Prosecutors General of the OTS member countries, Report informs.
He said that Azerbaijan has been trying to solve the Karabakh issue diplomatically for the last 30 years: "But all these years, the OSCE and its Minsk Group have just been dragging their feet. Therefore, Azerbaijan itself put an end to the occupation during the 44-day Patriotic War. Raising the flag of Azerbaijan in Khankendi, President Ilham Aliyev once again confirmed the meaning of the expression "Karabakh is Azerbaijan".
Yildirim also noted that today the Turkic states interact in various spheres, in particular in the fields of education, health, culture.
According to him, on November 2, Kazakhstan will host the OTS summit, at which the chairmanship of the organization will pass to Kazakhstan.
