Pashinyan expects Zelenskyy at high-level European summit in Armenia
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said he is expecting all members of the European Political Community, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to attend the upcoming summit in Yerevan.
He made the statement during a briefing following a government meeting, responding to a question on whether Zelenskyy had been invited to participate in the European Political Community summit, according to Armenian media.
Earlier, the newspaper “168.am”, citing a diplomatic source, reported that Zelenskyy would arrive in Yerevan for the May summit of the European Political Community. Several days ago, he also visited Azerbaijan.
The summit is scheduled for May 4, with around 50 high-level delegations expected to arrive in Armenia, including heads of state and senior officials.
On May 4–5, Yerevan will also host the first Armenia–EU summit. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will speak for Armenia, while European Council President António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will represent the European Union.
