PM Kobakhidze vows to fight artificially imposed hatred in Georgia
30 June 2026 13:17
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has vowed that the government will make every effort to end what he described as “artificially imposed hatred and aggression” in the country.
“This process is extremely important for ensuring healthy relations in our country and society. For many years, primarily through foreign funding, we were made to hate and act aggressively, and this must end,” Kobakhidze emphasised.
He added that this phenomenon is unacceptable for Georgian culture.
“In this context, special importance is attached to the work of the department for combating hate speech. In the future, close attention will be paid to its activities,” the PM noted.
