Reuters: Iran rejects US demands to halt uranium enrichment

Iran has rejected US demands to stop uranium enrichment and dismantle related industrial facilities during negotiations with the American delegation in Islamabad, Reuters reports, citing a senior US official.

The two sides also did not reach consensus on Washington’s demand for Iran to halt funding for Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, as well as to fully open the strait, the official added.
