Russia reports barrage of nearly 300 Ukrainian drones overnight

Russian air defence systems destroyed 273 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight, Russia’s Defence Ministry said.

The drones were reportedly shot down over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Volgograd, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Leningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Novgorod, Oryol, Rostov, Smolensk, Tver and Tula regions.

The ministry said drones were also destroyed over the Krasnodar and Stavropol territories, Crimea, Tatarstan, the Moscow region, and above the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.
