Shusha hosts 3rd meeting of OTS competition authorities

The 3rd Meeting of Heads of Competition Authorities of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS) and a related competition forum have opened in Shusha, Azerbaijan.

The event brings together officials to discuss the development of competition policy and the strengthening of regional cooperation in the field, Caliber.Az reports via local media. 

The forum will focus on improving regulatory coordination and advancing joint approaches to market competition among member states of the Organisation of Turkic States.

Speakers at the opening ceremony include Elnur Baghirov, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Agency for Antimonopoly Control and Consumer Market Supervision; Deputy Economy Minister Samad Bashirli; and Merey Mukazhan, Deputy Secretary-General of the OTS.

Officials are expected to outline priorities for enhancing institutional cooperation and promoting fair competition practices across the region.
