Some 60 triplets born in Azerbaijan since early 2022

The Azerbaijani Justice Ministry's district (city) registration departments registered 40,036 newborns in January-April 2022.

Compared with the corresponding period last year, this indicator for every 1,000 population remained at the same level (12.1), APA reports, quoting the State Statistics Committee.

Among those born, the proportion of boys was 53.2 per cent, and the proportion of girls was 46.8 per cent. The birth of 1,144 twins and 60 triplets was recorded.
