Turkish company finalises construction of Lachin's Zabukhchay reservoir
Turkish company Cengiz İnşaat has completed construction of the Zabukhchay reservoir in Azerbaijan’s Lachin district, as announced by the company's project manager Ekrem Tütüncü.
According to him, the reservoir is designed to provide irrigation water for agricultural lands in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The manager noted that in addition to the reservoir, the Company constructed two roads from Fuzuli to Shusha (including the Victory Road), contributing to 3 strategic projects in the liberated territories.
To recall, Zabukhchay reservoir holds 27 million cubic meters of water. The capacity of the main irrigation canal from the reservoir is 6.2 m³/s. The reservoir can provide irrigation water to 12,100 hectares of land in Gubadli and Zangilan districts.
