Turkish homegrown ANKA-3 drone, KAAN fighter jet to make maiden flights by late 2023 PHOTO
The Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAS) intends to operate the first flights of the ANKA-3 combat unmanned aircraft and the national fifth-generation fighter jet KAAN by late 2023.
The ANKA-3 drone, which has many advantages such as low radar signature, high speed and high payload thanks to its flying wing design, is ready for its first flight after the structure and subsystems were modified, Caliber.Az reports citing the message of SavunmaSanayiST.com on X.

The KAAN national combat aircraft will be prepared for its first flight on December 27, while taxi tests will be carried out in mid-December. The process of equipping it with systems and subsystems for combat purposes was launched during final assembly. The KAAN fighter jet will be fully assembled after the engines are integrated into the prototype.
