Turkish minister hails reconstruction work in Azerbaijan’s Shusha PHOTO
The delegation headed by Turkish Minister of Family and Social Services Derya Yanik, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited Azerbaijan’s cultural capital – Shusha on July 21.
Chairperson of the Azerbaijani State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Bahar Muradova and Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci were accompanying Yanik during the trip, Report informs.
Yanik paid an official visit to Azerbaijan at Muradova’s invitation.
Together with Muradova, the guests visited the Mardinli mosque in Fuzuli district and viewed the mosque destroyed by the Armenian invaders.
Then the guests visited Fuzuli International Airport, which meets all modern and international standards.
The delegation viewed the history and plans for the further development of Shusha city, visited the monuments of Uzeyir Hajibeyov, Khurshidbanu Natavan and Bulbul, the Bulbul house-museum, other cultural monuments destroyed by the Armenians and Jidir Plain.
During the visit, the guests emphasised the speed and quality of reconstruction and construction work being carried out in Shusha and in the liberated territories.
The guests revered the memory of the heroes who died in the second Karabakh war for justice and freedom.
