Türkiye detains terrorist wanted in military coup case

One of the members of the terrorist group FETO (Fetullah Gulen Terrorist Organisation), who was wanted in the case of an attempted military coup on July 15, 2016, has been detained in Istanbul.

The terrorist Jan W. was detained as a result of an operation carried out by Turkish law enforcement agencies in Istanbul, Report informs referring to Turkish media.

He was declared wanted in 2016 after an attempted military coup organized by the FETO group.

The detainee was also known by the code names "Ihsan" and "Ahmet".
