Unknown individuals open fire in Russia's Novosibirsk
Unknown armed individuals opened fire in the Sovetsky district of Novosibirsk, Russia, the Interior Ministry's Main Directorate for the Novosibirsk region said on its Telegram channel.
According to the Directorate, on November 2, a local resident contacted Police Department No. 10 “Sovetsky”, reporting that he had heard gunshots near the Ob Reservoir. The incident occurred in the evening hours.
“An investigative team was dispatched to the scene,” the statement said.
Law enforcement officers are currently searching for those responsible and are conducting operational measures to identify the suspects.
The “U nas na Shlyuze” public group on VKontakte reported that four people arrived at the scene in a white car and opened fire. The shooters reportedly left about 50 minutes later, leaving behind shell casings and an empty ammunition box.
