UK extends sanctions against Russia
Sanctions imposed on God Nisanov, Zarakh Iliev

The UK government has included 33 Russian citizens on the sanctions list due to the holding of referendums in the Ukrainian regions controlled by the Russian army, as well as in the “LPR” (Luhansk People’s Republic) and “DPR” (Donetsk People’s Republic).

The sanctions were imposed on Russian officials, businessmen and developers, as well as heads of pro-Russian administrations in Ukrainian regions, according to Kommersant.

The following people were subjected to sanctions:
• Andrei Yarin, Head of the Russian Presidential Office on Internal Policy;
• Boris Rapoport, Deputy Head of the Department of the Presidential Administration for the State Council affairs;
• Alexander Kharichev, Chief of the Presidential Directorate for Supporting the Activities of the State Council;
• Iskander Makhmudov, president and founder of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company;
• Igor Makarov, president and owner of ARETI International Group;
• Developer God Nisanov, co-owner and head of the Kievskaya Ploschad Group of Companies;
• Developer Zarakh Iliev, co-owner of the Kievskaya Ploschad Group of Companies;
• Anatoly Braverman, First Deputy CEO at the Russian Direct Investment Fund;
• Sergei Eliseev, pro-Russian head of government in Kherson;
• Ivan Kusov, Minister of Education and Science of the LPR;
• Vladimir Rogov, member of the main council of the pro-Russian administration of the Zaporizhzhya region,
• Yevhen Balytskyi, pro-Russian head of the government of the Zaporizhzhya region;
• Evgeniy Solntsev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Luhansk People's Republic;
• 10 employees of Sovcombank, 16 employees of Sberbank, 23 employees of Gazprombank;

The sanctions were imposed on the following companies and banks:

• IMA Consulting, described by the UK government as "Putin's favorite PR agency"; 

• Goznak, engaged in the development and production of state signs;

• Moscow Commercial Bank for International Settlements.
