Azerbaijan completes Wave-2024 joint tactical exercises in its territorial waters

The Azerbaijani Defence Ministry has announced that Wave-2024 joint tactical exercises successfully ended in the territorial waters of Azerbaijan in the Caspian Sea.

The servicemen of the Azerbaijani Naval Forces and the officers of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations were involved and equipment was used, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

“The ships left the deployment point to eliminate the accident on the imaginary platform at sea, the tasks were coordinated with helicopter pilots, ship captains at the joint command post, and other tasks on rendering necessary aid in the accident area were accomplished.

Moreover, the participants extinguished fire, conducted search and rescue operations, inspected underwater platform, organised the emergency duty, as well as fulfilled other tasks.

During the exercises, the servicemen accomplished the tasks professionally,” the ministry said.
