Google Chrome continues to grow user audience

After a slight decline in popularity at the beginning of the year, the Chrome browser has continued to slowly but surely strengthen its position in the desktop web browser market. 

The share of the brainchild of Google has increased by more than 3 percentage points since February, according to statistics from StatCounter.

An analytical company, Google Chrome is currently used on 65.87% of personal computers with a global network connection, and according to this indicator, the web browser occupies a leading position in the world. Safari (18.61%) holds the second place in the audience rating, and Microsoft Edge (3.26%) is in the third position with a market share of 4.13% according to StatCounter. 

It is curious that in the Russian segment of the global network, the picture of the web browser market is somewhat different. In Runet, computer owners most often use Chrome (55.75%) and Yandex.Browser (16.65%). Safari (9.96%), Opera (7.31%) and Firefox follow in the rating of preferences of the domestic Internet audience with 4.46 per cent of the market share. As for Microsoft Edge, only 2.93% of Russian PC users use it for web surfing and work.
