Armenians shell positions of Azerbaijani army 10 times

Over the past day, the positions of the Azerbaijani army were targeted by Armenian armed forces 10 times.

Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry's statement that, 6 shellings were launched from the Armenian positions on the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border in the Basarkechar, Garakilse, and Gorus regions in the direction of the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the Kalbajar and Lachin regions.

Another 4 were carried out by members of illegal Armenian armed groups on the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed, toward the Kalbajar, Goranboy and Fizuli regions from sniper rifles and small arms of various calibres.

No reports on personnel and equipment losses of the Azerbaijani army, which suppressed the offensives in adequate retaliatory.

“The entire responsibility for the tension that has recently escalated on the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border, as well as on the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily located, lies with the military-political leadership of Armenia,” the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a statement.
