A deadly fire in a nine-storey residential building in Yaroslavl, Russia, has tragically claimed the lives of four people, including two children, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
"Four people lost their lives in the fire, including two children," the ministry said, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
The fire broke out in a flat, and emergency responders discovered the bodies of two adults during the firefighting operation.
"A three-year-old boy and a girl were carried out of the premises, but, unfortunately, they could not be revived," the spokesperson added.
At the scene, 18 specialists and six firefighting units are actively working, along with a fire investigation laboratory. Authorities are investigating the cause of the blaze.
