Armenia did not pay CSTO membership fee in 2025, FM says

Armenia did not pay its membership fee to the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) in 2025, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has stated.

While presenting the annual report on the execution of the Armenian Foreign Ministry’s 2025 state budget in the National Assembly, he said the reason was simple – Armenia simply doesn’t participate in the organisation, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

He noted that Armenia suspended its participation in the CSTO as of January 1, 2024.

“We did not pay the membership fee for a simple reason — we simply did not participate in the organisation,” he added.
