Azerbaijan Airlines increases number of flights to Uzbekistan
Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan continue actively working to make more flights amid the intensification of political and economic ties.
Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) plans to make flights to another city of Uzbekistan – Samarkand from early October 2022, AZAL told Caliber.Az.
Flights to Samarkand, one of the oldest cities in the world, will be made twice a week - on Tuesdays and Fridays.
AZAL will increase the number of Baku-Tashkent-Baku flights up to five times a week.
Currently, regular flights between the two capitals are made on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, and will soon be made on Thursdays and Sundays.
The tickets are expected to be sold on the official website of the airline - www.azal.az soon. The tickets for these and other AZAL flights can also be purchased at AZAL’s offices.
Passengers who meet the indicated flight conditions and who can fly within the current epidemiological restrictions will be allowed to get on board.
Information on the rules of entry to Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan can be found in detail on AZAL’s website in the "Rules of Entry" section.
