Azerbaijan formalises annual education quota agreement with Tajikistan

President Ilham Aliyev has approved an agreement on the mutual allocation of annual education quotas between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan, according to a decree published on the official website of the head of state.

The agreement was signed in Baku on May 21 by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Science and Education and Tajikistan's Ministry of Education and Science.

Under the decree, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Science and Education has been tasked with implementing the provisions of the agreement.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will notify the Tajik government that Azerbaijan has completed the domestic procedures required for the agreement to enter into force.
