Azerbaijan hosts Second International Investment Forum in Baku VIDEO

The Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum is being held in Baku on September 25-26  under the patronage of President Ilham Aliyev.

According to AZERTAC, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is attending the event on the second day of the forum.

The forum, organised by the Ministry of Economy and the Export and Investment Promotion Agency – AZPROMO, is dedicated to the theme “Restoring Trust in a Fragmented World: The South Caucasus as a Pillar of Global Connectivity and Investment Stability.”

The forum is organised in partnership with leading think tanks. Its strategic partner, The European House – Ambrosetti & TEHA Group, is one of Europe’s leading think tanks and is known for its analytical research in economic policy, investment and competitiveness.

The forum has brought together leading global investors, representatives of government and international financial institutions, and business leaders.

The Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum serves as an important platform for presenting Azerbaijan’s investment opportunities to the international business community, developing public-private partnerships, expanding cooperation with foreign investors and international financial institutions, and promoting new investment projects. Important documents are expected to be signed during the international event, covering such areas as industry, finance, construction, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, agriculture, water resources and sport.

The First Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, held in September last year, brought together more than 1,000 participants, while investment agreements worth more than $10 billion were signed during the event. More than $7 billion of these agreements covered the non-oil sector.
