Azerbaijani president receives executives from Chinese, Italian companies PHOTO

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has received the chief executive officer of Chinese companies 01.AI and Sinovation Ventures, Kai-Fu Lee, and Filippo Malinverno, coordinator for international summits at Italy’s TEHA Group.

During the meeting, the guests said they would attend the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, to be held in Baku under the patronage of Ilham Aliyev, and highlighted the significance of the event, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani president’s official website.

Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan maintains close relations with China and Italy and said entrepreneurs from the two countries are investing in Azerbaijan.

The meeting also touched on Azerbaijan’s approved Artificial Intelligence Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025–2028. The sides noted the favourable business environment and the conditions created in Azerbaijan for both local entrepreneurs and foreign investors.

They also exchanged views on the practical application of artificial intelligence in areas such as green energy, cybersecurity and education, and discussed opportunities for cooperation between Azerbaijan and 01.AI, Sinovation Ventures and TEHA Group.
