Azerbaijan, Morocco embrace visa-free regime President Aliyev approves agreement

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has ratified an agreement on a visa-free regime between the governments of Azerbaijan and Morocco.

The agreement was signed on May 4, 2024, Caliber.Az reports citing the information posted on the Azerbaijani President’s official website.

Azerbaijan and Morocco maintain diplomatic relations established on October 13, 1992. Over the years, the two countries have engaged in various bilateral cooperation efforts, particularly in economic, cultural, and political spheres.

Political ties between Azerbaijan and Morocco have been characterized by mutual respect and support on international platforms. Both countries have shown solidarity on issues of mutual interest within regional and global organizations.
