Azerbaijan-Peru relations take spotlight in Independence Day greeting

Peruvian President José María Balcázar Zelada has congratulated President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day, highlighting the importance of expanding cooperation and political dialogue between the two states.

In a letter addressed to President Aliyev, the Peruvian leader conveyed his congratulations on behalf of the government and people of Peru, Caliber.Az reports, citing state media.

The president noted that Peru remains committed to further strengthening relations with Azerbaijan, particularly through the development of political dialogue established over the past three decades.

“I am confident that our joint efforts, serving the sustainable development of our countries, will contribute to the expansion of cooperation in areas of mutual interest,” the Peruvian leader stated.

Concluding his message, Balcázar Zelada once again congratulated Azerbaijan on its Independence Day and expressed his highest consideration and esteem for President Aliyev.
