Azerbaijan promoting tourism potential in India PHOTO
The Azerbaijan State Tourism Agency has announced that Azerbaijani tourism sector representatives are participating in the 11th MICE India & Luxury Travel Congress (MILT Congress 2024), held in Jaipur, India on July 25-26.
Azerbaijan is participating as a "bronze partner," represented by the Azerbaijan Tourism Board. During the congress, the board is conducting B2B meetings with prominent Indian experts in business tourism, event agencies, and wedding organisers, Caliber.Az reports citing the State Tourism Agency.
"During the B2B meetings, information is being shared about Azerbaijan's existing infrastructure for business ventures and the country's overall tourism potential," the announcement states.
In the first half of 2024, approximately 117,985 Indian tourists visited Azerbaijan, marking a 2.5-fold increase compared to the same period last year.
