US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has announced that President Donald Trump nominated US Air Force Lieutenant General Alexus G. Grynkewich for promotion to the rank of four-star general, along with his appointment as Supreme Allied Commander Europe, one of NATO’s most senior military positions.
NATO has confirmed its agreement with the nomination, officially supporting Lt. Gen. Grynkewich’s appointment to the post, Caliber.Az reports, citing the US Department of Defence's message.
In his new role, he will lead all NATO military operations across Europe. In addition to his duties with NATO, Lt. Gen.
