Trump predicts imminent end to US-Iran war

US President Donald Trump has said he expects the war between the United States and Iran to end “very soon,” while predicting a decline in oil prices once the conflict is resolved.

Trump made the remarks while speaking at a Washington conference focused on artificial intelligence technology, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

“Iran will never have a nuclear weapon. They are doing very poorly. This will be over very soon,” Trump said.

He added that, in his view, oil prices would begin to fall following a resolution of the conflict with Iran.

Trump also described the war as potentially one of the most significant achievements of his administration, saying it would go down in history as “one of the most important things” his administration had done.
