Azerbaijan reaffirms friendship with Laos in 50th anniversary letter

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter to Laos President Thongloun Sisoulith, marking the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

In his congratulatory message, President Aliyev emphasized the profound importance Azerbaijan attaches to its relations with Laos, reaffirming the enduring spirit of friendship between the two nations, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

“Azerbaijan attaches special importance to the expansion of relations with Lao, and the enrichment of cooperation with new content both bilaterally and multilaterally,” the president said.

The Azerbaijani leader further expressed confidence in the continued strengthening of ties between the two nations, stating: “I am confident that we will continue to make joint efforts to strengthen friendly relations between our countries and fully utilize the potential of our mutually beneficial cooperation.”
