Azerbaijan, Serbia express concern over escalating Middle East strife

On March 6, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev spoke by phone with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, exchanging views on the current situation in the Middle East and expressing concern over the escalating tensions.

During the conversation, both leaders condemned the drone attacks carried out by Iran against Nakhchivan, Caliber.Az reports via the state agency.

Aliyev also congratulated Vučić on his birthday, and the Serbian president thanked him for the gesture. 

The two presidents highlighted the development of friendly and strategic partnership relations between their countries and discussed prospects for further cooperation.
