Azerbaijani leader meets Turkish FM to cement stronger ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye
On January 18, President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan received Hakan Fidan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye.
Minister Fidan conveyed warm greetings from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to President Aliyev, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
In response, President Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the greetings and asked Minister Fidan to pass on his own regards to President Erdoğan.
The two leaders took the opportunity to celebrate the successful and ongoing development of the deep-rooted friendship, brotherhood, and strategic alliance between Azerbaijan and Türkiye. They acknowledged the progress made in political, economic, and various other sectors, expressing confidence that these bilateral ties would continue to strengthen in the future.
Throughout their discussion, President Aliyev and Minister Fidan also exchanged views on the future prospects of their countries' relations, highlighting various matters of mutual interest.
