Azerbaijani president congratulates Egyptian counterpart on national holiday

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

“On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I convey to you and, in your person, to all your people the sincerest congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the national holiday of the Arab Republic of Egypt - Revolution Day,” Caliber.Az reports with reference to the presidential press service.

“Our peoples are united by traditionally friendly relations. Today, our interstate ties, built on these good traditions, are successfully developing. I believe that through joint efforts, friendly relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Egypt will continue to expand and strengthen the interests of our nations.

“On such a significant day, I wish you good health, happiness, success in business, and the friendly people of Egypt - constant well-being and prosperity.”
