Donald Trump warns of high risk of world war in coming months
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has warned of a significant risk of a world war in the next three to four months due to actions taken by the current American administration.
He made this statement during a rally in California, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
Trump said that the current authorities could lead to a global conflict, emphasizing that the actions of government officials may trigger such an escalation.
The presidential candidate reiterated that if elected president, he would be able to quickly resolve the conflict in Ukraine and "end the chaos in the Middle East." He has previously criticized the administration of President Joe Biden, claiming that under his leadership, a war in the Middle East would not have occurred.
The presidential candidate expressed confidence that if he wins the election, "peace will be restored," while a victory for Vice President and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris would lead to a world that "turns to smoke."
One of the signs that the world is approaching World War III, Trump called discussions about possible Ukrainian strikes on Russia: Russian President Vladimir Putin is talking about nuclear weapons, while US President Joe Biden does not know what to say, the former head of state claimed.
Ukraine received authorization from the United States to use American weapons on Russian territory in late May, the reason being the advance of Russian troops near Kharkiv. Strikes on military targets in Russian areas close to the Kharkiv region have been authorized, but the use of long-range weapons is still not allowed.
Kyiv has repeatedly asked to expand the geography of strikes and authorize strikes deep into Russian territory, but US authorities have refused. “We do not seek conflict with Russia and other nuclear powers,” the White House explained.
