Five children killed in bus, truck collision in Russia’s Krasnoyarsk region

Five children were killed and at least six other people injured in a traffic accident involving a bus and a truck on a highway in Russia’s Krasnoyarsk region, authorities said.

The crash occurred on a regional highway, though the exact circumstances of the collision have not yet been disclosed. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene shortly after the incident, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media. 

Medical officials reported that six people were taken to hospital with injuries. The condition of three of the injured was described as serious.

An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the accident.
