Five civilians were injured in the city of Druzhkivka in Ukraine’s Donetsk region as a result of Russian airstrikes on residential areas.
The shelling took place late in the evening and again in the morning. The strikes triggered fires in the debris of two private houses and a two-story residential building, Caliber.Az reports, citing Ukraine's State Emergency Service.
Around 25 residential houses were damaged, along with an administrative building.
Firefighters managed to localise the fires but were forced to suspend firefighting efforts due to the threat of renewed strikes.
“Rescue services continue operating under conditions of heightened danger,” the State Emergency Service said.
