President: Austria sets to mediate between Ukraine, Russia

Austria will be ready to render mediation services through diplomacy for establishing lasting peace between Ukraine and Russia when hostilities are over.

Austrian Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen made the remarks following talks with UN Secretary- General António Guterres in Vienna, TASS reports.

“Austria, as a neutral country, will do its best to offer its mediation services, through diplomacy, if the situation stabilizes for the establishment of lasting peace,” Van der Bellen said at a press conference.
