Germany suspends projects worth €237 million with Georgia over EU integration concerns
Germany has announced the suspension of projects with Georgia valued at €237 million, in response to the country’s recent deviation from its EU integration path and the suppression of protests.
The decision was shared by German Ambassador to Georgia, Peter Fischer, who made the announcement on his social media account X, Caliber.Az reports.

Earlier, Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili announced plans to hold new elections following a meeting with opposition representatives. Zourabichvili also confirmed that she would remain in office after her term ends on December 29.
