Iran strikes key US facility at Kuwait air base VIDEO / UPDATED

Iranian army forces launched missile and drone attacks on US satellite communications systems, equipment warehouses and fighter jet airfields at Ahmad al-Jaber Air Base in Kuwait, the Iranian army’s press service has said.

It outlined that the attacks were carried out in what Iran described as “revenge for the blood of innocent people and brave servicemen,” Caliber.Az reports.

According to the Iranian side, US facilities at Al Minhad Air Base in the UAE were also targeted.

“The response of Iranian servicemen to any attacks by the US military, which is an accomplice to terrorism, will be harsh and destructive and will continue until final victory and the punishment of the aggressor,” the statement noted.

Iran has launched missile and drone strikes against a strategically important facility at a US military base in Kuwait, Iranian state broadcaster Press TV reports.

“A strategically important facility at a US military base in Kuwait has been struck,” Press TV said on September 3.

Smoke was seen rising from the site following the strikes.

Kuwait International Airport temporarily suspended operations because of the threat of further attacks, according to Press TV. Two flights were diverted to other airports.

Kuwait’s air defences are responding to missile and drone attacks launched by Iran, the Kuwaiti Armed Forces said in a post on X on the morning of September 3.

"Everyone is requested to adhere to the security and safety instructions issued by the competent authorities," the post added.
