Russia lifts ban on flights over Iraq, Iran, and Jordan

The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency, Rosaviatsia, has announced the cancellation of the flight ban for Russian airlines in the airspace of Iraq, Iran, and Jordan.

The agency stated that this decision follows an ongoing review of civil aviation activity in the Middle East. Rosaviatsia specialists will continue to monitor the situation closely and will promptly inform airlines if any changes arise, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.

"As part of the ongoing analysis of civil aviation activity in the Middle East, Rosaviatsia has cancelled the ban on flights in the airspace of Iraq, Iran and Jordan for Russian aircraft operators," the agency said.
