Russian ambassador attack in Poland PHOTO

Russian Ambassador to Poland Sergey Andreev was attacked Monday while trying to lay flowers at the war memorial cemetery for Soviet soldiers on Zwirka and Wigura streets in Warsaw, a TASS correspondent reported from the scene.

The Russian ambassador, his wife accompanying him, and a group of diplomats were doused with red paint and prevented from going to the memorial. The police arrived on the scene a few minutes later and surrounded the diplomats and helped them to get to their cars.
