Strong winds trigger Mi-8 hard landing in Russia's Kaliningrad-aircraft, passengers safe

A Mi-8 helicopter was forced to make a hard landing at Khrabrovo Airport in Kaliningrad due to adverse weather conditions, including strong winds, an airport source stated. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the passengers or crew.
“The Mi-8 helicopter made a hard landing due to bad weather and strong winds. Neither the equipment nor the people were harmed,” the source confirmed, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
The helicopter, which reportedly belongs to a local Kaliningrad-based company, was carrying 23 people at the time of the incident. Preliminary assessments indicate that the aircraft did not sustain any visible damage during the landing.
