Turkish Navy destroyer moors in Israeli port for first time in 12 years PHOTO

A Turkish Navy destroyer has docked in Israel’s Haifa port as part of NATO exercises for the first time since 2010.

The ship entered the port along with a US missile carrier, according to NEWSru.co.il.

TCG Kemalreis (F-247) will remain in the Haifa port for several days to refuel and demonstrate itself near the Israeli coast. In this case, the destroyer will not take part in any exercises in Israel.

This is the first public sign of security cooperation between Israel and Türkiye since the normalisation of relations between the countries.
