Yemeni army pounds Houthi targets with drones and missiles in 24 hours
Yemen carried out 181 military operations against Houthi military targets over the past 24 hours, Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson Colonel Majed Al-Nazili said in a statement.
According to Al-Nazili, the strikes killed or wounded dozens of Houthi militants and destroyed Houthi equipment and vehicles.
“The operations focused on military targets, sources of fire, and capabilities used in carrying out hostile acts along the contact lines,” he added.
Al-Nazili noted that the Yemeni Armed Forces are capable of reaching, neutralising, and preventing threats in line with operational requirements at a time, location, and by means determined by the military leadership.
He stressed that the units conducting the operations performed their duties with high efficiency and operational discipline, in accordance with international humanitarian law and while taking all necessary precautions to protect civilians.
The Yemeni Armed Forces urged people to stay away from military sites, facilities, and militia gatherings.
The spokesperson emphasised that the Yemeni Armed Forces are fully capable of taking the initiative and changing the balance on the ground.
