The recent provocations of Armenia and its armed forces against Azerbaijan and the counter-offensive operation of Azerbaijan in response prompted the Armenian lobby to intensify the attempts to misinform the international community, mislead citizens abroad, presenting Azerbaijan as an invader and aggressor. However, numerous diaspora organisations of our compatriots in various countries these days are doing their best to convey to the international community true, objective information about the situation on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border.

While uniting around the "Iron Fist" of Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev, diaspora organisations addressed the governments of countries and international organisations. The national solidarity of Azerbaijanis around the world helped to curb the attacks of the Armenian lobby, pro-Armenian politicians in Europe, and the US, seeking to undermine Azerbaijan’s international authority. Armenian informational provocations were prevented as successfully as the positions of Armenian soldiers were neutralised on the borders of our country.

Thus, there are many convincing arguments in the statement of the House of Azerbaijan in Paris regarding Armenia’s sabotage attacks that immediately clarify the whole situation if someone has not figured it out, having fallen under the pressure of the Armenian lobby.

Azerbaijanis living in France call on the international community to intensify pressure on Armenia to stop its aggressive policy. In their appeal, they point out that, unfortunately, Armenia has repeatedly torpedoed the peace process, initiated by Azerbaijan, by its provocations.

According to the statement, Armenia blocks the peace process under various pretexts, takes a destructive position during peace negotiations, does not withdraw its armed forces from the Azerbaijani territory contrary to the tripartite agreement, and continues planting mines in Azerbaijani lands, in particular, in Lachin city.

"All the above-mentioned facts once again prove that Armenia is not interested in the peace process and is ready to sabotage the establishment of peace," the statement says.

“We, Azerbaijanis of France, reiterate that the countermeasures taken by Azerbaijan in response to the provocations of the Armenian Armed Forces are a measure to prevent the threat to violate the state borders and the aggression of Armenia. We, Azerbaijanis of France, firmly declare that the actions of Armenia are absolutely incompatible with the peaceful process of normalising relations between our countries,” the final part of the statement says.

In turn, the Germany-Azerbaijan Friendship Corps also expresses a protest against the provocations of the Armenian side and reveals the details of the Armenian provocation committed on September 12-13, 2022 in the direction of the Dashkasan, Kalbajar, and Lachin districts.

“This provocation once again shows that Armenia impedes the peace process. We call on international organisations and institutions to contribute to the prevention of attacks by Armenia, intensifying efforts to stop them. We also call on everyone to convince Armenia to abandon its revanchist ideas and direct efforts towards achieving peace and harmony with Azerbaijan,” the Azerbaijanis of Germany said in a statement.

The US-based Coordination Council of American Azerbaijanis also addressed the local and international community in connection with the large-scale provocation committed by the Armenian armed forces. The Coordination Council urges the international community to intensify efforts to take practical steps in accordance with international law and stop the revanchist aspirations of the Armenian side, calling it to peace to avoid the recurrence of such situations.

“Armenia's actions completely contradict the normalisation of relations and the peace process in the South Caucasus region. While Azerbaijan is involved in large-scale restoration and construction work in the liberated territories of its historical homeland, Armenia’s aggression testifies again that this country is hindering this process,” the statement says.

Azerbaijani youth living and working in the US state of Florida also expressed a protest against the large-scale provocation committed by Armenia on the state border with Azerbaijan.

The appeal to the local and international community, signed by Founder and President of the Azerbaijan-American Youth Association Nabat Eminova includes detailed information about another war crime committed by Armenia.
The Azerbaijani community of Texas (US) also appealed to the local and international community in connection with the Armenian provocation committed on September 12-13, 2022.

The statement signed by the Head of the US-Azerbaijan Centre of Integration (USACI) Samir Novruzov includes detailed information about Armenia’s military provocation and draws attention to the reasons for this aggression. The Armenian military and political leadership are fully responsible for the provocation, confrontation, and losses on both sides.
Azerbaijan’s Veten Art and Culture Centre, operating in Toronto (Canada), is one of the centres which appealed to the local authorities in connection with Armenia’s large-scale provocation on the state border with Azerbaijan. In her appeal, Director of the Centre Lalin Hasanova informed Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Foreign Minister Melanie Joly about another war crime committed by Armenia.

Azerbaijanis of Canada note that they are very concerned that Armenia violated the ceasefire in the South Caucasus region, reached upon Azerbaijan’s initiative. The Canadian public also informed that Yerevan should put an end to the ideas of revanchism once and conclude a real truce agreement. In the appeal, Azerbaijanis of Canada call on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and other officials to condemn Armenia's aggressive policy at the international level.

The Alberta Azerbaijani Cultural Society (ALACS), operating in Alberta, Canada, is one of the centres which, having shown activity, appealed to the state authorities in connection with Armenia’s aggressive policy.

Executive Director of the Society Sabina Isgandarova addressed Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Foreign Minister Melanie Joly, Senator Leo Housakos, MPs Greg McLean, Jasraj Singh Hallan, Michelle Rempel, Stephanie Kusie, Pierre Poilievre, and the United Nations Association of the USA and informed about Armenia’s another provocation.

The Azerbaijan-Italy Union, the Coordination Council of Azerbaijanis of France, the Azerbaijani Cultural Centre in Munich, the Azerbaijani House in Hungary, the Azerbaijani Society in Spain, the Alliance of Azerbaijanis in Germany, the Association of Azerbaijanis in Slovenia, the Association of Friends of Azerbaijan in France, the Azerbaijan-Netherlands Society, the Germany-Azerbaijan House of Culture, the Azerbaijani Cultural Association "Karabakh-Stockholm", the Association of Azerbaijanis of the Klaipeda region "Azeris", the Norwegian Azerbaijanis' Youth Organisation, the Naples-Baku Association, the Coordination Council of Azerbaijanis in Norway and others also appealed to international organisations and the public.
